Once the basic techniques and method of the shamanic journey have been accomplished, and you have commenced a relationship with your power animal, there are many other opportunities and ways to explore the terrain of non-ordinary reality.

This workshop will introduce the Upper World, where you will meet your ‘Teacher'. You will also learn and practice how to journey on behalf of another person, and work towards getting answers to specific questions. Teachings will include an explanation of various methods of shamanic healing work, ways to deepen your relationship with your power animal, and how to continue this work safely and comfortably.

Shamanic journey work is usually done lying down, so feel free to bring whatever would make you comfortable. A blanket is a good idea, and perhaps a pillow as well. A scarf or bandana can be helpful to block out the light. There will be times when you will need to take notes, so bring along pen and paper. The instructor will be doing the drumming for your journeys but bring a drum and/or rattle if you have one.
