Distance Learning
In Calgary, this program is offered as a 10 class workshop, one Saturday per month for 10 months. Following the same basic format, the distance learning course is set up in 10 separate modules, 2 for each of the 4 cardinal directions (8 in total), one for the earth and one for the sky.
Each distant learning module is the same cost as the in-class course: $165. plus gst
After payment is received the information is sent via Canada Post and the student works through the material at their own pace. Once each module is completed, journey notes are typed up and sent to Jaki, and arrangements are made for a one-on-one review of the material either over the phone or by e-mail, for approximately ½ hour per module. (a $65.00 value, and an advantage over the group classes where due to the large number of participants no private student time is available.)
